Bomba and PLena aDult Workshops
Los Pleneros de la 21 offers Bomba and Plena drumming and dancing classes for adults. BPAW classes* are beginner friendly and are designed to help you master the basics of Bomba and Plena, while creating an environment for you to further develop and learn. BPAW classes are flexible -- join as many classes as you can. No minimum required.

After a brief winter break, Los Pleneros de la 21’s Bomba and Plena Adult Workshops are back. Starting February 2nd, Mateo and LeAna will return to kick off 2026 with drumming and dance classes.
🚨 All experience levels welcome — drums & practice skirts provided!

- - - BPAW CANCELATION POLICY - - -
At least 24 hours' notice before class start time is required to receive a refund or class credit.
In the case of full refunds - $1.00 (one dollar) will be retained by Los Pleneros de la 21 to account for processing fees charged to the organization. This $1.00 fee retention does not apply to partial refunds.
In the case of class credits - Credits for dance class must be applied to the following dance cycle, and credits for drum class must be applied to following drum cycle. In case of a repeat cancelation, credits may not be transferred again nor refunded.
Please email Programs Coordinator, Yadira Alejandro, at programs@lp21.org for all refund and class credit requests.
Refunds and class credits will be granted based on the published notice period. We appreciate your understanding that we must apply this policy consistently to keep our classes running smoothly.
