Meet some of the artists that you can catch at our first Stage Garden Rumba 2023 this Saturday, Sept 16th.

Founded in 1983, the intergenerational ensemble of LOS PLENEROS DE LA 21 creates infectious sounds combining raw percussion elements of Puerto Rican Bomba & Plena genres with contemporary and urban styles, like son, salsa, jazz and hip hop. (5pm-6pm)

Hailing from New York City, CIRCA’95 is an independent Afro-Latino Hip-Hop music group. Patty Dukes and Reph are Puerto Rican & Dominican by way of The Bronx and Washington Heights. They rhyme seamlessly through English and Spanish.

BULLA EN EL BARRIO is a bullerengue ensemble based in New York City. Founded by Carolina Oliveros in 2015, the group has promoted the Afro-Colombian expression and practice across venues, spaces and throughout communities across the city. Through their collective and inclusive work, they have emphasized the open space of bullerengue, welcoming any participant to enjoy and learn of their music and culture.
