Join Museum of the City of New York for an interactive Bomba drum and dance workshop with, us, Los Pleneros de la 21 for the whole family to enjoy! This is part of the Museum of the City of New York’s Midwinter Recess Family Activities.

During the program, visitors will learn about the history of Bomba, a drum and dance form with roots of Puerto Rican history; experience a Bomba performance from East Harlem-based Los Pleneros de la 21; and get to play the drums and dance in an artist-led Bomba workshop.

When: Friday February 23, 2024, 1pm-2pm

Price: Included with Museum Admission. All visitors living in zip codes 10029, 10035, and 10037 get into the Museum for free. Visitors under 19 are also always free! For those who live outside of these zip codes and are interested in attending, the Museum is pay-what-you-wish.
