Come join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of the next generation of NYC’s bomberos and pleneros

This final celebration of the 2007-2008 graduating class of the Bomba and Plena Children’s Community Workshops will feature live performances by students ages 4 to 17 and a unique display of carnival characters.

Year after year the children have captivated the audience in a unique display of solo and ensemble performance selections in this delightful pre-Puerto Rican Heritage Day parade festivity. The LP21 ensemble will join the children in the performance.

This is a perfect event for you and your family to share during the long-awaiting Puerto Rican Day Parade weekend!

The Bomba and Plena Community Workshops, are made possibly in part with funds from funds from New York State Council on the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and Councilmember Melissa Mark Viverito, District 8.
